A Letter to 20/21 Season Patrons

5/28/2020

We want to assure you that we are in this together with you, our valued and loyal patrons.

The 20/21 season is going to be new and different.

While we all miss sharing music together in the hall, change brings fresh challenges and opportunities to innovate. Fortunately, that’s something we’ve done successfully in recent years, bucking national trends while filling the hall, increasing the number of performances, and making the Symphony more inclusive, accessible, and welcoming to all. You, our subscribers and supporters, are at the heart of our success.

Until we are able to resume our usual concerts in the auditorium, we are exploring multiple scenarios to keep the music going and to keep us connected, whether that’s through digital concerts streamed to ticket holders; reducing audience capacity to accommodate social distancing for patrons; concerts featuring smaller ensembles to facilitate social distancing on stage and keep our musicians safe, and more.

As we settle into this new chapter of California Symphony’s history together, we remain committed to offering you, our loyal patrons and supporters, the same level of artistry, entertainment, and fun that you would expect from a California Symphony concert experience. We are grateful for your continued faith in us and we promise to be right here with you through the 20/21 season, bringing you the music you love, and leading the charge to innovate, while at the same time remaining true to our shared identity as the California Symphony.

Please read our Commitment to Subscribers.

Thank you for being a part of our continuing story.

Sincerely,

Lisa S. Dell

Executive Director
