Directions to the Lesher Center

The Lesher Center for the Arts is located in downtown Walnut Creek at 1601 Civic Drive. Parking is often available at the garage next door (usually $3-6), accessible off Locust Street and off California Boulevard. Additional garages are located one block away at Growers Square and near Broadway Plaza, which although a farther walk to the theater can help you avoid the pre-concert rush and be closer to your post-concert cocktail.

Avoid the traffic and parking when you take BART to the Walnut Creek station. From there, expect about an 8-10 minute walk to get to the theater.

Arrive Early
However you get here, plan to arrive early as there is no seating while the orchestra is playing. If you do miss the downbeat, you can watch the first piece on the television monitors in the lobby, and the ushers will seat you before the next piece begins.
Make it an Evening
Downtown Walnut Creek is bursting with wine bars and restaurants of all types, so take advantage while you’re here. If you go out near the Lesher Center, chances are you’ll see other concertgoers making an evening of it too.
