We’ve crafted some fun, turn-key, party-at-home experiences—delivered direct to you on the day—to make it easy to enjoy our end-of-season special event with up to nine friends, California Symphony Dreamin’ style.

What Does It Mean to Host a Watch Party?

We’ll supply you with plenty of food, beverages, and party favors—enough for TEN people—and we’ll deliver everything to you via our friends at the National Charity League on the day of the California Symphony Dreamin’ event, on Saturday, June 26.

What’s Included?

Party packages for TEN people start at $2500. The Patron Level Watch Party option includes:

  • 4-course gourmet dinner for TEN (cheese & charcuterie board, salad, entrée + sides, dessert), delivered to you on the day. (View menu here.)
  • At-home California Symphony Dreamin’ party supplies for TEN
  • Invitation to join to VIP Virtual Pre-Show with Music Director and special guests from 6:00 to 6:40 PM on June 26
  • Recognition on our website
  • Pre-event access and preview activities, including:
    • Early access to online auction
    • Early bidding privileges
    • Monday, June 21 at 4:00 PM: Join the Private Zoom Auction Preview Party (online), hosted by California Symphony Alliance + special guests
    • Automatic entry into the sweepstake

Beyond the Patron Level Host experience ($2,500), additional benefits are available through Sponsor ($5,000), Premium Sponsor ($10,000), and Event Sponsor ($25,000) packages, ranging from a life-size cardboard cut-out of Music Director Donato Cabrera to greet your guests, to an on-camera wave from your party during the live show, to a private recital by California Symphony musicians. Tell Me More About the Food…

Everything will be delivered to you during the afternoon of Saturday, June 26.  We’ll advise a delivery window a few days in advance. Items to be served hot will arrive in in oven-ready packages and with simple, easy-to-follow heating instructions. The maximum heating time in the oven for any dish will be 40 minutes.

To enable our wonderful partners Carrie Dove Catering to provide the best service and to guard against mistakes, each party host delivery will contain four chicken entrees, four beef entrees and two vegetarian. (Sorry, no substitutions.)

As a Host, What Do I Need to Provide?

You’ll need plates, glasses and silverware for ten.

You’ll also want to consider serving dishes for the salad and desserts, and platters for the cheese and charcuterie appetizer board.

How Should We Watch the Show?

NEW: In lieu of joining the VIP Virtual Pre-Show (6:00 to 6:40 PM), watch party hosts can opt to receive a California Symphony musician for a LIVE, in-home, pre-show performance!

We suggest that guests are all situated where they can view your TV starting at 7:00 PM as we start the main program.

We recommend a two-screen experience, which means your guests watch the show on the TV, and they can bid and give on their phones or tablets.

How Will Everyone Bid and Make Their Donations?

You’ll be prompted to enter contact information for all your guests when you purchase a table online, but don’t worry, you can leave everything except your own details blank!

We will encourage all your guests to register in advance so they can easily join in the silent auction fun before the event, and take part in the live auction and fund-a-need during the live show.

This simple sign up process will be communicated to guests a couple of weeks before the event, and we’ll be available to help with any questions or issues in the days leading up to it. We’ll also be hosting regular concierge hours the week of the event so you can easily reach us with your last minute questions, as they arise.

You can also make your fund-a-need donations and pledges and bid on live auction items in advance, as soon as the silent auction is opened, starting at noon on Monday, June 21.

We’ll send out more information about how to stream the live pre-show and live event nearer the day. (Hint: Both will be available on YouTube, so if you already know how to watch YouTube videos on your TV, you’re looking good and if not, we can absolutely get you there!)

We’ll also be hosting regular concierge hours the week of the event so you can easily reach us with your last minute questions, as they arise.
