Meredith Brown

Meredith Brown is well-known throughout Northern California, holding Principal Horn positions with the Oakland, Santa Rosa, and Vallejo Symphonies as well as Symphony Silicon Valley and the Fresno Philharmonic. She performs frequently with the San Francisco Symphony, the San Francisco Opera, and the San Francisco Ballet, as well as with Marin Symphony, Fresno Philharmonic, and the California Symphony.

Ms. Brown holds special interests in opera and historical performance, serving as principal horn for both Opera San Jose and the Carmel Bach Festival.  In addition, she has extensive experience in musical theater, including the San Francisco appearances of White Christmas, La Bohème, Ragtime, Fiddler on the Roof, Titanic, Sound of Music, Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera, and Les Miserables.  Originally from East Lansing, Michigan, Ms. Brown received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from the Peabody Conservatory and the San Francisco Conservatory, respectively.
