Leighton Fong

Leighton Fong is the principal cellist of the California Symphony. He is also a member of the Left Coast Chamber ensemble and the Eco Ensemble. Since 1997, he has been an instructor at UC Berkeley. He lives with his wife, Anna, in Berkeley CA.

Favorite musical memory

Playing the cello slow movement from the second Brahms Piano Concerto with the California Symphony was a wonderful experience for me.
