You Inspire Us. Now We’d Like to Return the Favor.
Your generosity has propelled the California Symphony to new creative ventures in this remarkable season, including upcoming video series, Poetry in Motion. We’ve been blown away by the love, with more and more people giving to support our world-class musicians and nationally recognized music education programs.
Now through May 8, we invite you to help us raise $50,000 during the Symphony Gives Week fundraiser sprint, with gifts to us and prizes for you!
When you give, you support the professional musicians of the California Symphony; you boost the futures of under-served local students through music education programs like Sound Minds; you promote young soloists and composers, and you invest in the future of an orchestra that’s making waves and growing audiences by making the symphony more welcoming, accessible, and inclusive.
And in a nod to our upcoming Poetry in Motion season finale series, you have us waxing poetic! When you give $100 or more, you’ll get a custom-made poem on a topic you choose.
How It Works
- Think of a topic—listening to Beethoven, golfing with buddies, Charlie my pet iguana, whatever your heart desires!
- You’ll be asked for your topic during online check out.
- We’ll commission a poet to compose a one-of-a-kind poem, typed out on an old-fashioned typewriter and mailed to you in 4 to 6 weeks.
