May 4 through 10—Donate, Get a Prize AND Give to Our Community
Symphony Gives Week prizes have become a popular tradition at the California Symphony. We’ve recognized your generosity with fun prizes like branded pens, bumper stickers, and even M&Ms with Donato’s face on them—and together we’ve raised tens of thousands of dollars in the process.
This year, like you, we want to do more to help our community, and so we’re taking the giving a step further. We invite you to help us raise $50,000 for the California Symphony and its music education programs AND give 500 cloth masks to local essential workers and community groups.
During this one-week campaign, May 4 through 10, your gift supports the orchestra musicians and boosts the futures of under-served, at-risk students right here in the Bay Area. And when you give $100 or more, we’ll send YOU a handmade cloth face mask AND we’ll distribute another in your name to help essential workers and volunteers in our local community.
How It Works
Donate $100 and we’ll send you a hand-made, music-themed cloth face mask AND we’ll deliver another mask in your name to one of the local partner organizations listed below.
For every additional $100, we’ll gift one more face mask in your name.
$1000 = One cloth face mask for you +10 donated
$5000 = One cloth face mask for you + 50 donated

These wonderful organizations are excited to benefit from your Symphony Gives Week gift.
What an inspiring project. Thanks to the generosity of California Symphony donors, White Pony Express will be able to include basic protective gear in our deliveries of nutritious food to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. I look forward to continued work together as we grow this remarkable circle of giving! — Eve Birge—Executive Director, White Pony Express
