Tingting Gu Volonts

Tingting Gu, born and raised in China. In 2010, Ms. Gu came to the United States and attend the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California on full scholarship. Immediately following her Los Angeles residency, Ms. Gu moved to San Francisco, studying with Alexander Barantschik at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.  Currently, Ms. Gu is principal second violinist at the Stockton Symphony, and is contracted with Modesto and Monterey Symphonies. Substitution of San Francisco symphony orchestra. She joined Sacramento philharmonic & opera in 2020 as Assistant Concertmaster . In 2022 she joined California Symphony and Santa Rosa Symphony.
