Catherine Matovich

Catherine Matovich is a classical violist and a Cajun/Zydeco/Blues/anything groovy fiddler. In Reno, she plays viola with the Red Tango and the Reno Philharmonic, as well as bluegrass and Americana fiddle with the award-winning Sierra Sweethearts. Around the Bay, catch her fiddling with the popular Cajun/Zydeco band, CZ and the Bon Vivants. She has toured the world playing with Neil Diamond and has played in back up bands for pop stars as varied as Mary J. Blige to Michael Martin Murphy. Catherine has even had the good fortune to have soloed on fiddle with the California Symphony. But wait…That’s not all!
