Join this field trip to San Ramon for an insight into the artistic development of California Symphony’s nationally recognized music program for at-risk children from one of the most economically challenged parts of the state.
- Witness music education—and social change—in action as the Sound Minds kids get to meet and play alongside Dougherty Valley High School Orchestra students, who have been Sound Minds mentors and penpals throughout the year
- Deliver personal notes of support to the kids, to encourage them to continue on their musical journey
- After the rehearsal, meet the Teaching Artists at The Bridges Golf Club (about a mile away) for complimentary drinks and appetizers
