It’s a graduation concert celebration! The end of the school year concludes with the annual Spring Concert where all members of the Sound Minds music education program get to perform and show off what they have learned during the year.
For the third year in a row, the Concert Orchestra Level group (the top level students) will perform a piece by living composer Stephen Chin. This year’s selection is The Silver Forest.
Additionally, we recognize sixth grade students who have been in the program—learning violin, cello, musicianship, choral singing, and World Rhythms—for five years. Now these young musicians are ready to move on to middle school.
