Members of the Rossmoor California Symphony Soceity

Stanley Dollar Clubhouse

The December meeting of the Rossmoor California Symphony Society features Donato Cabrera, Music Director of the California Symphony and the Las Vegas Philharmonic, and former Resident Conductor of the San Francisco Youth Orchestra. Cabrera will talk about how he programs the California Symphony’s season, how he approaches interpreting a score, and his path to becoming a conductor.

Members of the world renowned Pacific Boychoir Academy will also appear, performing a short program of acapella songs including Carol of the Bells to get society members into the holiday spirit.  The full choir takes to the stage at the Lesher Center for the Arts on December 22 for the “’Tis the Symphony” holiday concerts, which will feature a live screening of The Snowman movie, along with festive favorites.

Open to Rossmoor California Symphony Society members. Members are Rossmoor residents and a limited number of non-residents are allowed to join. For details, please call RCSS Vice President Jimmy Gahl at 925.954.1473.
