EDUCATION SPONSORSHIP

Since its launch in 1992 by Music Director Barry Jekowsky, more than 55,000 school children in Contra Costa County have had the experience of learning about music and music making.  Each year, more than 3,500 youngsters from all parts of Contra Costa County benefit from Music in the Schools (MIS).

Sponsorship Levels

Children's Concert Sponsor  - $1,000
Serves up to 300 students for one special performance

Half-Year MIS Program Sponsor - $6,000
Serves 400-600 students with two Upper Grade-level MIS concerts and two Lower Grade-level MIS concerts.

One-Year MIS Program Sponsor - $12,000
Serves 400-600 students with four Upper Grade-level MIS concerts and three Lower Grade-level MIS concerts accompanied by Teacher guides for all participating teachers and Study Guides for all participating students.
