Exit at Ygnacio Valley Road
Turn Right off exit
Turn Right onto California Blvd.
Turn Left onto Civic Drive
Turn Right onto Locust Street, the parking
garage is on your right

From San Jose:
Take Highway 680 North
Exit at Olympic Blvd.
Turn Right onto Olympic from exit
Turn Left onto California Blvd.
Turn Right onto Civic Drive
Turn Right onto Locust Street, the parking garage is on your right

From Concord/Sacramento:
Take 680 South
Exit at Walnut Creek/North Main Street, go toward South Main Street
Go straight, staying right toward California Blvd.
Turn Left onto Civic Drive
Turn Right onto Locust Street, the parking garage is on your right

Parking is available in the Locust Street Garage, adjacent to the Lesher Center. There is also ample metered street parking ($0.25 per fifteen minutes 9am to 6pm - FREE after 6pm Monday through Saturday, and FREE on Sundays) around the Center and additional garages throughout the downtown area.

Accessibility

• Handicapped parking spots are available on each floor of the Locust Street Parking Garage and are clearly marked.
• There are two sets of elevators in the garage and two elevators in the Center.
• Outdoor ramps allow easy accessibility to the Center’s main entrance.
• A drop-off zone is also available outside the Center’s front doors on Civic Drive.
• The Center is wheelchair accessible and theatres are equipped with infrared listening systems for hearing-impaired patrons. Please let us know if you have special seating requirements at the time you purchase tickets.

Getting to the Lesher Center by Public Transit

The Lesher Center for the Arts (1601 Civic Drive) is an easy two-block walk from the Walnut Creek BART Station (200 Ygnacio Valley Road).

From the Richmond/Berkeley area, take a Fremont train to MacArthur Station and then transfer to a Pittsburg/Bay Point train to the Walnut Creek Station.

From the Fremont/San Leandro area, take a Richmond train to 12th Street/Oakland City Center Station and then transfer to a Pittsburg/Bay Point train to the Walnut Creek Station.

From the Dublin/Pleasanton area, take a Daly City/Colma train to Bay Fair Station, then transfer to a Richmond train to 12th Street/Oakland City Center Station and then transfer to a Pittsburg/Bay Point train to the Walnut Creek Station.

From the Antioch/Pittsburg area, take a Daly City/Colma train to the Walnut Creek Station.

From the Colma/Daly City/San Francisco/Oakland areas, take a Pittsburg/Bay Point train to the Walnut Creek Station.

From the Walnut Creek BART Station, walk 2 blocks south on North California Blvd (behind the Target store) to Civic Drive. (As you walk along North California Blvd you will be able to see the Lesher Center lighted marquee listing upcoming events at the Center.) Turn left onto Civic Drive where you’ll find the Ticket Office and the main entrance under the portico. Enjoy the show!
