Stacey Street
Executive Director
Stacey Street has served as the executive director of the California Symphony since her appointment to that post in 2001.
Ms. Street, who has more than 15 years of arts management experience, previously served as interim executive director of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra as well as the organization's director of development and marketing. She has held positions with the San Francisco Opera, the Jewish Museum San Francisco and Boston's Handel & Haydn Society.
Ms. Street holds a Bachelor's Degree magna cum laude from Harvard in anthropology. She is the the 2008 Conference Chairman for the Association of California Symphony Orchestras, and formerly served on the board of the Golden Gate Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Ms. Street is also a singer and has performed with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus and Philharmonia Chorale, and has recently joined the Oakland Symphony Chorus and continue to study voice privately and perform in recitals regularly.
