Etiquette

The California Symphony's home venue, the Dean Lesher Regional Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, asks that patrons observe the following performance etiquette:
- Give yourself plenty of time to get to the theatre. Tickets are not sold after the scheduled curtain time, and patrons arriving after curtain time should not expect to be seated immediately. Tickets presented to the House Manager after curtain time are not exchangeable or refundable. For more information on the Center's late seating policy, please see Dean Lesher Regional Center for the Arts' Web site at http://dlrca.org/.
- There is no smoking in the theatre or lobby areas; no food or drink is allowed in the theatre seating area.
- Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Children younger than school age should not be brought to regular performances. Children are welcome, however, to attend the Symphony's Family Concert and Instrument Petting Zoo
- Please turn off all cell phones, beepers and watch alarms before entering the theatre. Patrons who may receive an emergency call during a performance should leave the number (925) 295-1424 with their sitter or service, along with the name of the event and their exact seat location (row and seat number) so they may be easily reached.
- Law prohibits the possession of any photographing or recording devices in the theatre, without the written permission of the management.
- Please unwrap all cough drops before the curtain rises.
- Avoid accoutrements that may make the performance unpleasant for those around you: excessive scents, obstructive hats, jangling bracelets, crinkly plastic bags, etc.
- Please refrain from talking, humming, singing or beating time to the music during the performance.
- Persons leaving the theatre during the performance may not be readmitted.
