2016/17 Season

Celebrating 30 Years

The 2016-17 Season marks the 30th anniversary of the California Symphony, and we’re celebrating the core tenets of our mission that have guided us since the beginning: championing emerging talent, launching the careers of living composers, and showcasing the finest artistic quality from our top tier musicians. We perform five distint programs throughout the season, and each program features an alumnus of our Young American Composer-in-Residence Program in addition to soloists hand-picked by Maestro Cabrera, some who will no doubt become household names, and some who are already. We can’t wait to celebrate all the lives this orchestra has touched on stage and off for the last three decades, and we certainly can’t wait for you to join us.
